Water soluble crayons
A new edition of Fashion Artist by Sandra Burke has just come out and am pleased that Sandra has included so many of my drawings in this book’s new edition. Her book is a good overview of various fashion drawing styles as well as a how to draw fashion guide.

These drawings were all done from live models in about 10-20 minutes. Drawing from a live model is such a pleasure. They were done as a reaction to the moment and not intended to sell clothing per se. They were done as an appreciation and representation of the form and mood of a particular moment.

Thank you Emily for your comments, movement is something that I tend to focus on in a drawing. Creating a rhythm in a sketch is important.
